Board of Directors Mark Henrichs has spent more than 30 years in industrial research in the photographic, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. He holds an undergraduate degree in chemistry from Rice University and a PhD in chemistry from UCLA. His career accomplishments include multiple peer-reviewed scientific publications, industrial patents and experience with start-up companies. Most recently he was the Director of Technology Development at Fairway Medical Technology. While at Fairway he co-founded the Gulf Coast Medical Device Manufacturers, a community of local design, engineering and manufacturing companies working together to share opportunities and keep business related to medical devices in the region. Since retiring from Fairway in 2008, he has concentrated on the growth and development of the GCMDM. Our membership meets monthly to network and educate each other to the engineering and manufacturing capabilities and opportunities in the region.
