In 2005, Trelleborg acquired SF Medical, a leading manufacturer of engineered silicone products. This acquisition allowed us to capitalize on their expertise in silicone technology. The SF Medical product line finds a strategic fit within our existing portfolio by providing qualified North American production of products for this rapidly growing marketplace.
